PICTURES OF MY EARLY MORNING WALK AS I TRIP LIGHTLY THROUGH THE FOGGY DEW

So, I went for a walk in the early morning,

and this is what I saw...

This is behind the hedgerow at the top of the field behind our house.

Very foggy this morning just as the sun was coming up behind the hills that surround the valley where we live.

a bit further along in my early morning walk, you can just about see the hills in the distance, the gap between the hills to the left is where the Snake Pass goes over to Sheffield.

There isn't actually a road where I'm going, this is a farm track that is mostly used by the farmer's tractors, but it is a public right of way.

Most of the trees around here survive against the odds on the edge of the moors.

This is a farmyard cottage that is for sale. It is just by the farmyard with a field behind where the calves live while they are being fattened up.

As you can see the cottage is next to a working dairy farm.

Farmers are reluctant to spend money !

Finally just to prove that Spring has sprung...

The trees are coming into blossom.

Bit weird really, the leaves haven't come out yet!
